The Olympic Route Network (ORN) will cover more than 100 miles of London roads and a further 171 miles around the rest of the country. "Games Lanes" will take up 1% of London's roads.

Some of the routes will be subject to side road closures, changes to traffic lights, pedestrian crossings and adjustments to bus stops.

There will be no visitor parking at the Olympic Stadium so there will be a strong campaign from the Mayor's office to get visitors travelling by public transport.
